Functionality description in short:
- The location of a mobile beacon installed on a DJI drone is calculated by the Marvelmind indoor positioning system as usual
- The DJI drone is unaware that it is carrying an extra payload. It doesn’t receive its location directly from the mobile beacon, unlike in the PixHawk-based solutions
- The location data obtained by the Marvelmind modem is fed into the Marvelmind Dashboard
- The Dashboard streams the data via UDP over WiFi to the Marvelmind DJI app run on an Android phone connected to the DJI RC-N1 via USB
- DJI RC-N1, in its turn, controls the DJI drone wirelessly using a virtual stick, making the drone believe that it is human-controlled, whereas it is controlled by the system so that the drone successfully flies over the waypoints set in the Dashboard, takes the pictures, or scans the QR codes and recognizes them, and sends them back to the Dashboard via the UDP
- The Dashboard streams out the location data to an external system as usual, but the location data is enriched with the scanned and recognized QR codes, thus making an integration with WMS or ERP systems simple. To stream out data via UDP instead of consuming it locally on a computer will require a UDP-support license

Pricing:

- The license is linked with the modem’s CPU ID
- It is possible to order several licenses for several drones per modem’s CPU ID
- It is possible to order several licenses and then distribute them over several modems. However, as soon the licenses were distributed, they are locked to that modem
- Drones can be freely changed in the system, for example, if one breaks, it can be replaced without additional hassle with the license. That is exactly why the license is linked with the modem – not with the mobile beacon or the drone
