* Gives up to 2 times longer range with equal other conditions. Can be limited due to certification. For example, the maximum allowed power for the TELEC T108 Japanese certification is +2dBm
** Gives up to 3.5 time longer range with equal other conditions. Can be limited by external noise or interference.
Description
Modem v5.1 vs. Modem v4.9 comparison

Questions and Answers
Is it need a power supply or works with battery? How long is the battery life?
The modem is not battery powered. It is USB connected and USB powered.
Does this modem support multi-modem systems? If so, where can I find more detail and instruction on how to build such system? Thank you!
It is not yet. All our current customers fit into the capacity of a single modem.
We will have the Multi-Modem Architecture commercially available, when there will be large enough real commercial cases.
Most likely, only Super-Modems will support the Multi-Modem system, at least, in the beginning. They have much larger memory and much larger processing power. At the later stage, Modem v5.1 may be supported as well, but that is not guaranteed.
