The license allows a mobile Super-Beacon to stream out data using UBX (u-Blox) protocol. It is used for PixHawk with PX4 stack
The license also allows substituting u-Blox compass that may not work indoor with a signal from the Paired Beacons. The PixHawk will believe that it is getting direction data from u-Blox compass via I2C
Works with the Paired Beacons configuration for Location+Direction in NIA. See more about the Paired Beacons:
Order the feature via the Dashboard by providing beacon’s CPU ID or send us email with the beacon’s CPU ID
We will generate the license key and send to you via email
Place the license key into Dashboard/Licenses folder
The features becomes activated in the Dashboard

However, in the Inverse Architecture the mobile beacon on the drone is receiving ultrasound. It is suitable for robots, forklifts, people, but not for the noisy drones. They would limit the distance of tracking drastically – instead of 30m in each submap to just 3-5 meters – depending on the noisiness of the drones. We have special options – like noise shields, etc. – they can be applied with some additional requirements to your system. But, in general IA is not recommended for drones – only for “quiet mobile objects”.
We have MF NIA for drones. But the location update rate per drone would be about 8*5/N (Hz) per drone. So, for example, for 1 drone that would be 8Hz, for 5 drones – still 8Hz/drone. For 10 drones – 4Hz/drone. For 100 drones => 0.4Hz drone.
The SW feature? – may be, but we have tested with PX4 only. There are many HW/SW combinations. We couldn’t test with everything.

I follow the manual for connecting super beacons to px4. But it still shows GPS lost on QGC.

Hello,
I am testing this license with px4 on Kakute H7 and magnetometer doesn’t work (I am receiving just the GPS signal). I also get the message “no mags found” when trying to calibrate. I have done everything based on the tutorial and double checked the wires.
I see that you have contacted us via email at info@marvelmind.com as well. We will reply to you there, and then, I hope we will not forget to share the replies here as well to help other users.

Questions and Answers
If I have a swarm (100~500 indoor drone show), can your system support?
We support up to 250 beacons (stationary + mobile combined:

Does it only work in Paired Beacons configuration?
Yes, for location data, it would work with a single mobile beacon as well. But, of course, without a Paired Beacons you would lose the direction data.
Does it work with ardupilot as well?
