Helmet works in the Inverse Architecture (IA) and is designed for tracking people in warehouses, assembly plants, construction sites and similar environment.
The recommended configurations for Helmet is IA in 915/868MHz band with 4-8Hz update rate and Real-Time Player enable and TDMA submaps turned on. The resulting latency is 1-2 seconds – for the best tracking quality. Non-TDMA works well as well, because Helmet may have lower probability for obstruction than Marvelmind Jacket or Marvelmind Badge.
Marvelmind Helmet includes Mini-RX and 1 additional external microphone (IP67 membrane protected) on top of the helmet. Notice, that there is a hole in the Helmet. It doesn’t really impact on the Helmet in terms of protection, because the hole is just 8mm, but if you must use your own certified helmets only, then consider our Marvelmind Headlight tracking.
