Marvelmind Watch works in the Inverse Architecture (IA). It is designed for tracking people in events, conferences, museums, and exhibitions, when other – more robust mobile beacons – can’t be used for some reasons. All essential SW, as well as Marvelmind Dashboard API, are already included in the price. Just download the Marvelmind SW pack: https://marvelmind.com/download/ => https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_SW.zip. This is an IA-only system. Use IA SW from the SW pack: https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_SW.zip. The recommended configurations for Watch are 915/868MHz band with 8Hz update rate and Real-Time Player enabled, and TDMA submaps turned on. The resulting latency is 1-2 seconds – for the best tracking quality. Watch is based on Mini-RX. Demos: – Room-level tracking
Distance to beacons
Reaches up to 25 meters
Location precision
±2 cm
Location update rate and latency
Inverse Architecture:
4–8Hz. Can be set manually

Hey,
I want to apply this watch to an assembly line. The dimensions for the measurement are approximately 10mx20m. Is this the right thing to use for that? Do I need to purchase anything else besides the watch?
Regards,
Koen

Hello,
Yes, the Watch is particularly suitable for the applications like wrists tracking, assembly line teaching and optimization. It is not much suitable for regular people tracking. That is more the Badge‘s role or the Helmet‘s/Jacket‘s role.
With this configuration, you would be able to cover up to ~25-30m of the assembly line. If you need to track more wrists, just add more Watches. If you want to cover more product line, then add more stationary beacons: https://marvelmind.com/pics/Marvelmind_Robotics_ENG_placement_manual.pdf.

The Watch works in IA (https://marvelmind.com/download/ => https://marvelmind.com/pics/architectures_comparison.pdf). So, at minimum, you need two stationary beacons on different ultrasonic frequencies, for example, 25kHz and 31kHz) – https://marvelmind.com/product/super-beacon/ and a modem, for example: https://marvelmind.com/product/modem-hw-v5-1/ .
