Setting up Pixhawk and Marvelmind

Post by brandoman »

Is there a Dummies guide to setting up Marvelmind to work with Pixhawk?

I am attempting to setup a rover to work with it but I can't get the two to connect. I can see everything fine in the Marvelmind software so there is no problem on that side of things, and I have everything worked out according tot he guide here (http://www.marvelmind.com/downloads/mar ... 10_11a.pdf) , but once I move over to Mission Planner I am lost.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

EDIT: Running MM 5.31 MP 1.3.48 Rover 3.1.2

Do you mean you was succeded with APM planner (shown in the guide by your link), but could not connect with Mission Planner?
If so, the data are coming to Pixhawk but you can not see it because of some specifics of Mission Planner interface.
Can you share some screenshots?
Or you could not connect with APM planner too?
Do you made the map frozen by button in right bottom corner of the map?
Mobile beacon transmits GPS data only when the map is frozen, it is main working mode.
Unfrozen mode is the preliminary state when the map is building.

Sorry, I was out all weekend. Let me try to answer as best as I can since you are so nice to help me.

APM Planner - No actually I have not connected it through APM Planner. I did try to use APM Planner but it did not help and Mission Planner is my preferred setup.

MAP - yes, I did freeze the map in the MarvelMind prior to entering into the Mission Planner software.

Here are a couple of images showing the hedgehog and then all the mobile components together. Sorry for teh odd picture but I am getting the components ready to mount.
