Mini Rx batteries dead?

Post by theRoboticist »

Hi,

I have a few mini-rx beacons that have sat unused for a few months and do not seem to be able to connect to the dashboard. I have seen the other poses about similar problems and tried the solution presented in the manual (turn off, charge, then try to update), however I have been unable to get any of them to work. I even charged them overnight to be extra sure they were charged, but they still seem to only briefly connect to the computer and then disconnect.

When it connects briefly, the battery voltage usually reads as something like 3.2V which makes me think the batteries are too discharged to be recharged. Is that correct or is it maybe some other problem?

Do you have any suggestions of how to fix this? Is there any chance I could buy replacement batteries and just swap out the dead ones?

Thanks.

Hello,

We faced that before. Beacon may be over-discharged.

Please, check the Operating Manual - https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_ ... manual.pdf - Mini-RX Beacon chapter or Troubleshooting chapter.
