Does anyone pass pixhawk/arducopter POC stage?

I wonder to know if anyone succeeds to use marvelmind beacons with pixhawk + arducopter + NMEA GPS reliabily?
What I mean here is to set up the whole system and to use the copter indoor without any trouble or doing special care regarding the compass. I followed the documentation and I succeed to use auto flight mode but I have to deal with the compass and configure the north properly before each flight. That makes the system not usable for a real use case. It's just fine for a proof of concept.
What I'd like to do is the take-off and land several times without any manual handling between each flight. Is it possible?
Did I miss something? I will be very happy if someone could give me a lead to avoid the compass/north issue.
