Python functions (Windows)

Postby MaartenV » Mon Aug 26, 2019 4:25 pm

Hi there,

I'm using the python example under Windows to get the position of the hedge for every second. Everything is working properly but are there other options available in python other than to get the position? For example, it would be useful to know for every position by how many beacons it is calculated to have an idea about the accuracy.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Beacons can transmit quality of location data and some other information according to the protocol:

But currently not all of these data are parsed in python example.
We will add support of parsing all available data in close future.

Hi,

I'm also interested in using Python to make a project with Marvelmind. Will the Marvelmind Python library supply techniques for receiving waypoints as well, or is all of that intended to be managed within the robot's computer?

Hello,

Yes, we will add receiving of waypoints to the Python example in close future.
And some other features currently not supported in Python library, like RSSI and positioning quality.
