NMEA Protocol

Post by nightfurys9 »

Hello,

I have the (4+1+1) starter set. I am able to read the data from the mobile beacon through USB using 'Marvelmind' protocol. The development board that I am using supports GPS protocol (NMEA 0183). I tried changing the protocol on the mobile beacon's UART/USB by using the advanced configuration mode. But the protocol doesn't seem to change. I am seeing the raw data from the beacon through Teraterm and the protocol is still the Marvelmind protocol. When I 'write' settings to the beacon, it writes and when I re-check the changes by 'read', it says 'Marvelmind' protocol again. In short, it doesn't shift to NMEA protocol.

How do I change the UART/USB data to NMEA protocol?

Regards,
Sudharsan
