Re: procedure for drawing path

Hi, Dashboard sends requests to the modem to get coordinates of hedgehogs according to this protocol: http://marvelmind.com/pics/modem_usb_protocol_2016_07_02.pdf The received coordinates dashboard draws on the screen as blue points, which form a path. By default the dashboard also executes linear e...

Re: Updating 4.3 to latest software - more details

Unfortunately, modem with hardware V4.3 can not be updated to software V5.xx with dashboard. The software became too large in size for this. You should use DFU to update modem software, as shown earlier in this topic, or here: http://www.marvelmind.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=294 For the hardware ...

Re: questions of the UDP packet

Every beacon have unique address to distinguish one beacon from another. Two devices with same address can not work in one system. On the picture is the screenshot of dashboard with comment how to view and change address.

Re: Retrieving live location data

Yes, UDP requests should be sent to the dashboard, running on the same or another computer. You can read data directly through USB from hedgehog: http://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_beacon_interfaces_v2016_03_07a.pdf and from modem: http://marvelmind.com/pics/modem_usb_protocol_2016_03_12.pdf Hedg...

Re: Retrieving live location data

Hello! 2. "Data size to read (bytes)" is the size of payload data to be read, in most cases it is constant for the certain packet. 4. For protocols with requests and answers, it is required to send request to receive every position update. In streaming USB/UART protocol the position is sent every ti...

Re: API for user's application

Yes, you can communicate with modem (router) connected to the computer. It is possible without dashboard by using this protocol: http://marvelmind.com/pics/modem_usb_protocol_2016_03_12.pdf Or you can run the dashboard and communicate with dashboard via UDP protocol: http://marvelmind.com/pics/dashb...

Re: Inverted map and state after poweroff

Hi Martin. Yes, there are two mirror possible states of map, and correct one can not be automatically detected with our system. It should be done manually from dashboard, the button for it is shown on screenshot. For current version of modem (V4.62) and earlier versions this button inverts map only ...
