Re: Super Beacons - doesn't work IMU

Hello, Please elaborate what do you want to get from IMU? IMU in super beacons include only accelerometer ang gyro. The data fields on your screenshot are results of calibration of accelerometer, they don't updating during regular work and update only after calibration. Calibration is required for I...

Re: Points in the Dashboard map not updating

Hello,
I see you already found the solution, good. Sorry for delayed reply.
Our general recommend is to reset all beacons and modem to default after updating software to avoid problems similar to this.

Re: Gyro without IMU in Dashboard

Yes, you can get the direction via UART. In attachment is the Arduino example. 'paired_heading' variable is filled by angle in decidegrees. Value 0 means direction along X axis, value 900 (90.0 degrees) means direction along Y axis, value 1800 (180.0) degrees is deriction opposite to X axis and so o...

Re: Tip about Dashboard 6.190

Hello, Super beacons are supplied with 5 TX sensors and 1 RX sensor (microphone). So by default all TX sensors and default microphone are enabled in software. Additional microphones can be connected to the Super beacon for more wide listening area. Don't enable RX2...RX4 for super beacon in dashboar...

Re: marvelmind_modem_c Problems with high comm port numbers

Hello,

This may be because com ports with numbers higher than 9 require special names in windows.
Try type \\.\COM16 instead COM16.

Re: Modem Not Waking Beacons Automatically

Hello,

What is the version of software you are using? Is it from latest update (V6.190)?
When modem don't wakes beacons, what do you see after connecting modem to dashboard - the map with sleeping beacons, which continue working after waking, or the previously built map is lost?

Re: Will more stationary beacons improve accuracy?

I mean embedded oscilloscope (menu View/oscilloscope in dashboard). You don't need additional hardware for this. Please refer to operating manual for details. Building submap with 3 or 4 beacons don't give redundancy in 2D. But you can split your area into several submaps with 2 beacons and each of ...

Re: Postion Erratic at certain locations

Hello, What type of system (IA, NIA) and what type of beacons do you use as mobile and stationary (HW4.9, mini-Rx, Super-beacons)? You can check ultrasonic signal with embedded oscilloscope (menu view/oscilloscope in dashboard). Compare signals in points where location is ok, with signals in points ...

Re: how to get x,y coordinates of hedge on the serial port of arduino?

Hello, This feature allows to send any data to mobile beacon via USB/UART and see these data in dashboard. Format of sending data is shown in section 2.2 of the protocol: https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_beacon_interfaces.pdf For example some robot with mobile beacon can transmit any data from...
