Re: Z value is not shown in ROS but its shown in Dashboard

Hello, The flags value "3" means no valid coordinates available (the low bit of flags is set). This may be because the map is not built or not frozen, and so the position of mobile beacon can not be calculated. Please check the system state on another PC with dashboard and modem connected at the sam...

Re: APM Planner is connected but not taking the system readings

Hello, This document shows how to select the mode of serial output including baud rate: http://www.marvelmind.com/downloads/marvelmind_pixhawk_v2016_10_11a.pdf We not yet tested our system with ErleBrain, but we tested with Pixhawk and several software GPS receivers. The GPS output from the mobile b...

Re: SPI and UART refresh rate

Hi,

Please tell, what kind of serial monitor are you using, we will try to reproduce this issue.
We recently experimented with connection via UART to Raspberry Pi, and the update rate was normal.

Re: SPI and UART refresh rate

Hi, Please share some additional details: Are you connected the hedgehog to the Arduino via UART? What is the 'serial monitor' that tells you 1 Hz? How it is connected to the system? If you change the update rate in dashboard, are you see any changes in serial monitor? The single setting which can a...

Re: procedure for drawing path

I'm sorry for bad understanding of the question. On the screenshot is shown the dashboard screen with window for controlling the robot path. This window opens by the button in the area of manual robot control, and this area appears only if the robot is available in the system. The text area on the l...

Re: procedure for drawing path

Hi, Dashboard sends requests to the modem to get coordinates of hedgehogs according to this protocol: http://marvelmind.com/pics/modem_usb_protocol_2016_07_02.pdf The received coordinates dashboard draws on the screen as blue points, which form a path. By default the dashboard also executes linear e...

Manual setting of X,Y axis

Hello, The first way to change axis orientation is the button, shown on the screenshot. To setup axis: 1. Click the button 2. Click the beacon which will have (0,0,0) coordinates - starter beacon 3. Click the next beacon which will be on X axis with positive X value and zero Y value 4. Click the nex...

Re: Updating 4.3 to latest software - more details

Unfortunately, modem with hardware V4.3 can not be updated to software V5.xx with dashboard. The software became too large in size for this. You should use DFU to update modem software, as shown earlier in this topic, or here: http://www.marvelmind.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=294 For the hardware ...

Re: questions of the UDP packet

Every beacon have unique address to distinguish one beacon from another. Two devices with same address can not work in one system. On the picture is the screenshot of dashboard with comment how to view and change address.

Re: Could I log the coordinates of the hedgehog using the Dashboard software?

We will insert additional timestamp to log file in next version of software, we plan to publish updated firmware and dashboard in next few days. What kind of timestamp related to system time is more applicable for you: number of milliseconds from midnight, number of milliseconds from january,1 of 19...
