Re: Big Map with Drone

Hello, If it is possible, you can place stationary beacons as a grid with 20 meters size, as shown on atached picture. To cover 100x100 meters area you will need 36 beacons and 25 submaps. Each submap will have 4 beacons on will overlab 2,3 or 4 close submaps. Service zones should overlap by 1...2 m...

Re: Ultrasound precision small room

Hello, On the screenshot I see you have 'Number of periods' 1 for the mobile beacon. This may be too weak ultrasonic emission even for so small distances. Please try 5 or 50 periods. If this will not help, please share file generated by 'Save map' button and screenshots of the embedded oscilloscope....

Re: About the submap

Hello, It seems M1/M2 function have some issues. We will check and fix it in next software update. Thank you for the feedback. This function helps to move submaps correctly relative to each other. You don't need it if you know real relative locations of submaps, or if submaps have common beacons. In...

Re: marvelmind API library

Hello,

'Zero IMU' function is not currently supported via API, we can add it in next software update.
Reset function is available in current version, please refer to 'mm_reset_device' function in the API example.

Re: How to print coordinates from modem/dashboard on Arduino serial port?

Hello, You can connect modem to Arduino via UART like hedgehog, and modem will send location data in the same format as hedgehog, so you can use same Arduino examples. See modem's pinout in section 8.3 of operating manual (pins USART2_TX and Ground): https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_navigation...

Re: Create a tracking Arduino robot

Hello,

Yes, if you need only distance between two objects, you can use such configuration.
Will need modem and two beacons - mobile and "stationary" which also can move.
Location data can be received from modem and from mobile beacon, but not from "stationary", in current version of software.

Re: In this case, can the device receive the signal or not?

Hello, 1. Try switch beacon 1 to another address instead 1. Address 1 is not recommended because modem also uses address 1. 2. Check the correct microphone is selected for this beacon - select it in dashboard and switch sensors view from TX to RX as shown on attached screenshot. RX1 should be enable...

Re: hedgehog and rasberry pi 3 connection problem

Hello, Do you have a tracking in dashboard when hedgehog stops transmitting data? Please check RSSI (radio signal strength) value of the hedgehog in dashboard when it works and when it moves away and stops working. Maybe radio signal is too strong or too weak. Normal RSSI is approximately between -2...
